Eva & Tom<\/h2>\n

I first photographed Eva and Tom back in the spring during their engagement session on Goat Hill Overlook<\/a> in Lambertville. It was a special place to them, as they would sit on Washington Rock and watch the falls below. It was evident that they had each found that perfect match. They found me through their wedding venue, HollyHedge Estate<\/a> in New Hope. I\u2019ve been an extremely fortunate wedding photographer as Holly Hedge Estate has been recommending me for years. Eva and Tom loved the pictorial elements of Holly Hedge, and they wanted those elements incorporated into their wedding photos. On their wedding day I found the perfect spot from which to hang Eva’s beautiful white lace wedding gown and the perfect spot for her gorgeous bridal bouquet created by Mark Bryan Designs<\/a> as well as elements from nature to incorporate with her wedding shoes and jewelry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eva is very close to her mom Sheila, who was instrumental in helping Eva plan the perfect day. They giggled together and enjoyed every single moment of the prep time in the bridal suite. They both could hardly believe the day they had planned for so long was actually here! Eva and Tom wanted to see each other before the ceremony. They wanted that private time together, but they also wanted to have wedding portraits in daylight, as their ceremony was taking place at dusk. We choose to have their first look in front of Holly Hedge\u2019s main house, so Eva could walk down the long sidewalk to her waiting groom. There are so many great spots for photos at HollyHedge: The pond, the bridge, the reflections of them in the water. Then we went over to the old barn, and though the courtyard was tented for their many guests, we photographed in the huge barn window\u2019s exquisite light. They were also game for going up to the back fields for a few more wedding portraits, as well as a visit with the goats. One in particular was hoping to make Eva\u2019s bridal bouquet his lunch!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The candlelight ceremony in the old barn was lit by tea lights, tapers and lanterns, which hung from branches surrounding the inside balcony. The last of the cool December dusk could be seen outside the huge historic windows, while inside it was warm and inviting. Two of Eva\u2019s bridesmaids are professional singers and sang during the ceremony. The old barn glowed with the love for them from family and friends, as well as candlelight. One of Eva and Tom\u2019s favorite things to do is dance, and there was a lot of that at their reception! The music was provided Bob Egan Entertainment<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
