Rustic Summer Wedding at The Farmstead of Ringoes<\/h3>\n

Elena was probably the most laid-back bride I ever photographed. She and her soon-to-be-husband Gabe found the Farmstead of Ringoes the perfect spot for their June wedding. This was a destination wedding for them since they both reside in New Mexico. They had perfect weather, the perfect venue, and a Mariachi band! Who could ask for more?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elena was an absolutely beautiful bride, and we started there photography in the sweet vintage house from the early 1900\u2019s. I wanted to give her a dramatic bridal portrait, so I actually put a flash outside the window with a lighting modifier on it and created one of my favorite bridal portraits ever. Her first look with Gabe holds so many wonderful memories as little Zachary kept jumping up to try and catch her veil as the wind kept lifting just out of his reach. I love working with veils and we got a lot of cool shots that day.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony was wonderful as Elena walked across the huge expanse from the bridal suite to Gabs waiting by a row of evergreens and a huge wooden armoring beautifully adorned with flowers. The guests were seated on long wooden planks which sat atop bales of hay. Barrels held iced tea and ice water for the guests. Bill and Sheryl Davis own The Farmstead and Bill performed their ceremony for them. Elena and Gabs were so excited to be married they practically ran back to the barn where a Mariachi band performed for the cocktail hour. There are plenty of games for kids and adults to play, and there were lots of bean bags being tossed on this perfect June day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dinner was in the barn with long farm tables decorated with garlands of greenery. Wonderful light filtered through the barn windows. It was such a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy such a memorable event.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Their day was truly a day of family and close friends celebrating their love.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Located just 10 miles outside\u00a0 of New Hope, Bucks County, the Farmstead of Ringoes is a new and quite unique wedding venue for those couples looking for a rustic-style barn wedding. An early 1900\u2019s Sears house serves as the quaint bridal suite, an historic train depot is available for the groomsmen to get ready, and a lovingly-restored 100-year old barn is perfect to adorn for celebrations. Tented receptions can accomodate up to 150 guests with those sought after farm tables available. What really makes this venue different is a wedding train!! The Black River Western train can be used for a grand entrance by the bride and her attendants, or it can even be rented for the cocktail hour. The ceremony site is spacious, and offers a rustic setting with barrels, bales of hay and a huge wooden arbor to adorn with florals. To end the perfect evening, fire pits and Adirondack chairs are a great gathering place for the wedding party and lingering guests.<\/span><\/p>\n
