I think this candid photograph of a bride getting ready with her bridesmaids almost looks like a painting. The complementary colors are warm and harmonious, and the moment captured reminds me of something a master painter would record. The bride looks out this barn window as her attendants all help to pull out the train of her wedding gown. I think this is a lovely moment and a wonderful memory for this bride.
I believe that photographers can learn a lot by studying how the early masters saw light and recorded light with their brush strokes. Leonardo Da Vinci, for example, is said to have observed the differences in how objects and people looked when closer and farther away, and also how they looked in bright light and dim.
