I just love long veils! This bride had a cathedral-length veil, and I asked her to pose on this dock in the backyard, where she had gotten ready. Since she was a dancer, I knew she could not only gracefully move her veil but also navigate the uneven planks of the wooden dock. I placed her flowers prominently in the foreground. I shot this wedding on film and used a combination of sidelight and backlight to highlight her veil.
