Getting Ready, Ceremony and Reception at New Hope’s Hotel du Village: Brooke & Rob

Brooke and Rob gathered with family and friends at this historic, elegant-yet-quirky French Chateau style wedding venue surrounded by panoramic views of the Bucks County countryside. Sunlight streaming through the Tudor-style windows in the bridal suite highlighted her jewel-encrusted Badgley Mischka bridal shoes, her special wedding day jewelry and her bouquet in her chosen shades of pink and peach. Brooke excitedly got ready as she just couldn’t wait to see Rob. She looked incredible for her first look, which we did on the back patio where her outdoor ceremony was being held. What an exquisite photo as her train is spread out just before she walked up to Rob! There are so many incredible spots for artistic wedding photos; from the manicured gardens, to the back fields, to the sun setting behind the majestic trees that border this countryside villa.

Wedding gown, shoes, bouquet

Sunlight streaming through the Tudor-style windows highlight Brooke’s lacy wedding gown, bejeweled shoes and bridal bouquet.

A spritz of Princess……

Rob and his groomsmen; such a close and fun-loving bunch!

The guys are having fun with their photos!

Such a beautiful floral hairpiece. It went perfectly with Brooke’s wedding gown.

Brooke couldn’t help sneaking a peek at her engagement ring as she slips on her shoes, almost ready for the First Look.

Brooke was such a beautiful bride and I wanted to take a quick portrait before she saw her Groom.

A favorite photo of mine showing how incredibly gorgeous Brooke’s gown was with the train spread out on the back patio. Rob stands in the distance waiting to see her.

Brooke walks to Rob for their First Look. I find that most brides perfect to walk to their Groom to surprise him.

Rob is blown away by how gorgeous his bride looks.

The bridal party having some fun out in the manicured gardens.

We wanted to use some of the cool furniture they had rented from White Glove Rentals which made the venue even quirky-er.

One of my very favorite images taken at this wonderful venue. To take this image, I had a flash behind the bride and groom to artistically light them and have them stand out from the dark background.

Brooke and Rob wanted to leave some time so they could enjoy their cocktail hour. I can’t blame them, as the food here is amazing!

The Historic Ballroom, which is the smaller of the two event spaces at Hotel du Village, set up Brooke and Rob’s wedding.

A stunner of a cake in soft blush tones of pinks, peaches and ivory.

The fire pits on the back patio are an ideal place for guests to gather, and make for a wonderful end of the night photo with this bride and groom!
