Hello, and thank you for your interest in my photography. I'm Cindy DeSau and I love every minute of the work I do. I specialize in documenting weddings in Bucks County where I am familiar with all the unique venues, and I’m proud to be on the preferred list of the leading planners and locations.
I believe life is beautiful just how it is and I’ve spent mine capturing real moments as they unfold. Beginning my career as a photojournalist for newspapers in Kansas, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph famous artists, stunning landscapes and compelling stories for over 15 years.
My favorite assignment was photographing world-renowned artist and sculptor George Segal in his studio in South Brunswick, N.J. I’ll never forget that incredible experience walking room to room where his life size sculptures stood. It was like spending hours in a private museum! Photographing George and hundreds of interesting people helped me hone my portrait work and expand my experience.
I’ve also photographed landscapes all over Europe, Iceland and the U.S. and documented stories from Ghana to my hometown.
Now I focus all my energy on telling the stories of the couples I work with. Listening deeply, I learn to understand and appreciate unique histories, personalities and styles. I approach every location with an eye for landscape photography, every moment as a photojournalist, and every person as a portrait artist.
Cindy DeSau as the photographer for our wedding was the best decision we made, and was by far my favorite vendor of our event. She is so talented in her photography, and she knows lighting and angles with her eyes closed. The photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined, but possibly more importantly, she put me at ease every step of the way.
