Autumn and Blaise’s idyllic fall wedding at New Hope’s HollyHedge Estate has to be one of the most emotional, romantic and joy-filled days I’ve ever been a part of. I think now more than ever we realize the importance of close friends and loving family. Autumn and Blaise have an abundance of both, which was obvious as they celebrated their wedding day.
I can’t imagine trying to orchestrate a day such as theirs in this age of COVID. Constant changes, lots of stress, but none of that mattered as their day unfolded. They truly had that “picture perfect” day during fall in Bucks County.
It all started when Autumn interned with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Nazareth Business Council while a sophomore in college. Her supervisor actually thought she would be a great match for a young man who had a business in town. Though she saw him from afar and thought he was cute, they were never introduced. Fast forward to after graduation. Autumn gets a DM from Blaise and he asks her out. They go to the Bethlehem Brew Works and find they have lots in common. Blaise says he knew on that first date Autumn was the one he would marry.
After two years of dating, Blaise proposed in 2018 during their housewarming party. She remembers him acting oddly much of the day, and in the evening Autumn remembers him getting on a microphone to thank guests for coming and then calling her up to speak. She was annoyed with him for being so formal, but then he grabbed her hand and got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone! Autumn recalls it felt so good to feel so much love in one place, and I can say that she had all that love with her and Blaise on the day of their wedding. I saw it and felt it.
