Getting ready photos, outdoor ceremony, portraits and tented reception in New Hope
Jayme and Brendan’s summer wedding at the Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve was filled with charm and uniquely personal touches, from their vows beside the pond to the home-made signs guiding the guests through the paths in the meadow.
Jayme started the day getting ready with her bridesmaids at the luxurious Inn at Bowman’s Hill in New Hope, located just a few short miles away. This Inn has been ranked among the Top 10 Luxury B&B/Inn in the world by TripAdvisor.com, which makes it a perfect spot for getting ready photos and portraits of the bride. Upon arriving at the Preserve, Jayme and Brendan had their first look, and the pond with it’s rustic pergola made a great backdrop for wedding photos. Their ceremony followed on the stone patio, and afterwards guests followed the bride and groom through the meadow, lead by a bagpiper. Wonderful hand-made signs guided the guests through the meadow. On reaching the clearing cocktail hour was held under the trees, where guests enjoyed yard games such as corn hole and croquette. Jayme and Brendan had their first dance in their tented reception under the setting sun, with dancing under the stars in the Moore Pavilion.
The Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is available for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Ceremonies can be located by the pond, or the Gazebo in the Woods. The Moore Pavilion accommodates up to 200 people, and tented receptions are also an option.
