The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm

The gorgeous Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm is just minutes from New Hope and Peddler’s Village. The long sycamore-lined drive leading up to the inn evokes a sense of peaceful escape.

Built in 1740 as a country estate, it was once the home of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright George Kaufman. The 16 guest rooms are named after plays by Kaufman, with many featuring whirlpool tubs, sun rooms, gas fireplaces and private balconies overlooking pastures, woodlands and lush gardens.

Weddings at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm

With beautiful indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies, weddings at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm are idyllic all year round. Choose to say “I do” near the beautiful green iron gazebo, in the manor house or historic barn, or surround yourself with nature in their gardens and open fields. Any location you choose will be picturesque and private.

The bridal suite is simply magnificent. To keep it pristine, hair and makeup are now done in the reception space of the barn, and getting ready photos are done in the bridal suite when it’s time to get dressed and begin your wedding day.

Receptions at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm

Your reception can be held in their elegant conservatory or historic barn, or you may decide to go with a tent to take advantage of their spacious grounds. Weddings at the Inn at Barley Sheaf can be intimate celebrations with 20 or 30 people or grand affairs for 300 guests.

There are a lot of spectacular areas for photography at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. A favorite space of mine is that long sycamore-lined drive where there are so many possibilities no matter the time of day.
