Built in 1796, the Ryland Inn was once a country home and a stagecoach stop. It's located in the rolling hills of Hunterdon County in Central New Jersey and is filled with history and timeless elegance and beauty. A great combo of old-world charm and modern luxuries, it offers two distinct options for your wedding day; the Grand Ballroom and the Coach House.
The Grand Ballroom combines the ambiance of a country farmhouse with some modern flair. It features stunning 30-foot windows and a magnificent stone fireplace that mixes beautifully with the glow and sparkle of six chandeliers, making weddings at The Ryland Inn refined and relaxed. A private courtyard that includes outdoor bars, lounging and fire pits is the height of country comfort and elegance.
A refurbished 200-year-old barn, The Coach House has exposed wood beams and twinkling chandeliers. Original pieces from the silo and historic barn are incorporated into this unique and dramatic event space. The charm is authentic, and there are separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. It has whitewashed ceilings with dark wood beams, Italian porcelain floors and French doors as well as a massive stone fireplace. Accommodating weddings of up to 200 guests, there are additional outdoor spaces with multiple fire pits and a private bar. Great for cocktail hour or an after party in a picturesque setting!
There are several accommodation options, including The Hayloft Cottage, The Pelham House and The Kimblewick House. The Hayloft Cottage is a single level space with a large bedroom, a luxurious bathroom, large living room with sofas and flat screen TV plus a brick outdoor patio with seating.
The Pelham House has five bedrooms in total, with one bedroom and a private bathroom, a game room, open kitchen area, and dining room with seating. There is also a large living room with sofas and flat-screen TV and stone outdoor patio. Four well appointed bedrooms have private baths, along with a barber shop area and are located on the second floor.
The Kimblewick House has a total of five bedrooms, with a first floor bedroom, a large living room, an open kitchen and a dining room. On the second floor you will find four bedrooms with private bathrooms, and a beauty room that has stations for hair and make-up.
The Ryland Inn Bridal Suite is lovely and reserved for those who have booked the Grand Ballroom for their special day. I adore taking photos in this space!
Ryland Inn Grooms Cottage is the perfect space for the groom and his guys to get ready, relax, and shoot some pool and even primp at the barber shop.
