As a recommended professional at Lambertville Station, I can vouch there are plenty of places along the river, by the canal, with the bridge, and in town for both picturesque and fun wedding day photos.
Sitting along the Delaware River amid antique shops and eclectic boutiques, art galleries, Bohemian coffee shops and charming restaurants, Lambertville, New Jersey offers a quaint walking town for your guests.
New Hope is just across the river in Bucks County, Pa., its shops and restaurants easily accessible with a quick stroll across the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge. The Inn offers 46 contemporary rooms or suites for guests. There is also a large parking lot with lots of free parking and easy access into town.
Brides have access to a beautiful large bridal suite overlooking the river, with lots of natural light and modern touches.
Ceremonies can be outdoors along the river’s edge or inside, as the venue offers an open-air space, which looks out onto the river, trees and a small waterfall. Pre-reception cocktails are also perfect in this space.
The Riverside Ballroom with floor to ceiling windows overlooks the Delaware River and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The adjacent outdoor terrace is great for cocktail hour and wedding portraiture which I always take advantage of. The New Hope-Lambertville Bridge can be used in the background of wedding photos, and for ambitious bridal parties that are into it, we can take photos on the bridge itself. There are paths running behind the Inn with a lot of cool rustic and edgy places to photograph which is always a lot of fun. Sometimes sky lanterns are launched at the end of the night, which makes for a magical end to Lambertville Station weddings as hundreds of tiny lanterns take to the night sky.
